Die beinahe 60 Aktivmitglieder der Harmoniemusik Glarus verstehen sich als "Unterhaltungsmusikanten", welche durch das gemeinsame Musizieren sowohl sich als auch die Bevölkerung der Gemeinde Glarus und Umgebung mit einem sehr breiten Spektrum an Musik unterhalten wollen.
